American Dream Essay

American Dream Essay

The American dream, many people speak about it and many come in search of it but what is the American dream? It's not an object or item you can see or hold it is a goal an outlook even of what you wish for. However with dreams comes nightmares, the nightmares being of current days.

The dream for myself is to become a robotics engineer creating life-like robots that can make decisions on their own. I dream of becoming wealthy and sharing that wealth with others to the point that I will not be considered wealthy but poor.

I have a dream that one day we will have world peace. That the children starving and hurting will stop dying, their parents stop crying. I have a dream that people who run are running for fun not because they are scared of being hurt from others. I have a dream that school shootings don't happen and that the losses of such young souls wont be seen on the news flash. we can over come these social problems if we try just fight with words instead of picking up a gun. We can change the world if we try we just gotta stay focused and not lose our minds.

Professionally I want to travel the world and sell my inventions as a robotics engineer and meet important people like the president or Bill Gates. See I just want to become known throughout the world known as the man that gave his wealth away improve the living for others and say "I had a good life if I could do it again I would." I never want to see people hurt that don't have to I have seen enough to last me a lifetime.

I see a bright future that can be exciting but it takes time for dreams to be met. It took Dr. Martin Luther King's lifetime and more for his dream of whites and blacks being equal. All of our dreams can be reached it just takes time and effort to accomplish them.
